Easter Mini Sessions in Cincinnati: Custom Sets, Limited Spots, and the Cutest Photos Your Kids Will Ever Take

Easter sessions are HERE and I am so pumped about this year's sets.

Every year I build custom Easter sets from scratch in my Cincinnati studio and every year they get a little more fun. This year I went all out with giant hand-built carrots, colorful Easter eggs, flowers, greenery, pastel garlands, and some really adorable setups that are going to make your kids' photos look like they stepped into a storybook.

I'm Jess at Say Yes to Jess and Easter minis are some of my favorite sessions to shoot because the kids just LIGHT UP when they see the sets. The squeals, the pointing, the immediate grabbing of Easter eggs. It's chaos and it's adorable and I capture all of it.

Spots are limited so if you want in, don't sit on this.

Custom hand-built Easter photography set featuring a wooden crate display with giant hand-painted orange carrots on the wall, a mini carrot garland, pastel polka dot string lights, colorful Easter eggs, spring flowers, greenery, a mint cake stand.

This Year's Sets

I built three different Easter sets this year so you can pick the one that fits your kid's vibe (or do more than one if you can't choose).

Set 1: The Carrot Stand

This one is giving farmer's market meets Easter wonderland. A wooden crate display with giant hand-painted carrots on the wall, a carrot garland, colorful Easter eggs, a pastel polka dot garland, flowers, greenery, and a cake stand because every good market needs treats. It's bright, it's fun, and it's the kind of set that makes kids want to play and explore, which means the photos are full of real expressions and genuine joy.

This set works great for toddlers, kids, siblings, and honestly any age. Adults who want a fun, colorful Easter photo? Come on through. I don't judge.

Set 2: The Carrot Patch

Same giant hand-painted carrots but this time they're lined up on the floor like a little carrot garden. Surrounded by flowers, greenery, and Easter eggs scattered around. This one has more of a "sitting in the garden" feel. It's a little more relaxed and works beautifully for kids who want to sit and explore rather than stand.

Perfect for little ones who are just starting to sit up, toddlers who love to grab everything in sight, and siblings who want to sit together in the middle of all the color.

Set 3: The Big Egg

This one is for the tiniest bunnies. A big egg that's sized for a baby or toddler to sit inside. It's as cute as it sounds. Actually it's cuter. Imagine your baby peeking out of a giant Easter egg surrounded by spring colors. That's the photo going on your fridge, your mantle, and every grandparent's house within a 50 mile radius.

Best for babies and smaller toddlers who can sit up on their own.

Why These Aren't Your Standard Easter Photos

I build these sets by hand every single year. The giant carrots? I made those. The garlands? Made those too. Everything is custom, everything is creative, and everything is designed to look like nothing else you're going to find at any other photographer in Cincinnati.

Your kid is not going to be sitting on a stool in front of a backdrop with a stuffed bunny. They're going to be surrounded by a colorful, immersive set that makes them feel like they're in a little Easter world. And that's when the best photos happen. When kids are genuinely excited about what's around them.

Also, I'm great with kids. Even the ones who don't want to cooperate. Even the ones who immediately try to eat the props. Even the ones who take one look at the camera and decide they're done. I've been doing this for over 10 years and I have tricks. We'll get the shot.
