Christmas Photos!
Unique Holiday & Christmas Photoshoot (Christmas Card Photos) in Cincinnati Ohio
Christmas sessions are hands down the most fun time of year at my studio. Every year I build custom holiday sets from scratch. We're talking Polar Express vibes, cozy hot cocoa scenes, North Pole setups, Elf on the Shelf chaos, the works. These are NOT your standard "stand in front of a tree and smile" holiday photos. These are the photos that make your Christmas card the one everyone keeps on the fridge.
Want something a little less traditional? I am SO here for that. 90s JC Penney throwbacks, ugly sweater chaos, matching pajamas with the dog, Grinch energy, whatever your family's vibe is, we're going to run with it.
I also offer custom holiday and Christmas cards! I print a bulk order around Thanksgiving so your cards are ready to send out before the season gets crazy. If you want cards, I'd recommend booking your session in late October or early November so we have plenty of time.
Sessions take place at my Cincinnati studio and spots fill up fast once the season starts. Don't wait until November to reach out!
I photograph families, couples, kids, and pets from all over the Cincinnati area including Covington, Florence, West Chester, Mason, Fairfield, Loveland, and Northern Kentucky. My studio is right off the highway and easy to get to from just about anywhere in the Tri-State.

Common questions

Yes! I have wardrobe to use in all my sessions. We will go over what you're looking for before your session to see If I have something that will work with the vibe you're trying to create.
-
My usual editing time is 2 weeks, unless otherwise specified. However, if you need your photos sooner, I can often accommodate quick turnarounds! Just send me a message with your needs, and I’ll do my best to make it happen.

Yes! I do offer custom print cards. I typically print a bulk order of cards around Thanksgiving to ensure they’re ready in time for the holiday season. If you’d like me to print cards for you, I recommend booking your session in late October or early November. Let’s create something special for the holidays!
-
Yes! I absolutely love embracing out-of-the-box, super random holiday photo ideas. Whether it’s JC Penney-style shots or those delightfully cheesy “Bad” 90s portraits, I’m here for all of it! Let’s create some unforgettable and quirky holiday memories together!

Right here! My studio is in Camp Washington, just minutes from downtown Cincinnati and easy to get to from Covington, Florence, West Chester, Mason, and anywhere in Northern Kentucky. I build all my themed Christmas sets right here in the studio, so no need to hunt down a location. You show up, I handle the magic.
-
As early as you can! My holiday sets go up in October and slots fill fast, especially weekends. If you want your photos back in time for holiday cards, I'd recommend booking by mid-October at the latest. But even if you're a last-minute planner, reach out and I'll see what I can do.

I don't do cookie-cutter mini sessions with a chair in front of a tree. My sessions are fully custom. We brainstorm your idea together and I build the set or create a one-of-a-kind composite that's completely yours. Think your family riding a dinosaur through the snow, your kids as Elf on the Shelf, or your family on the Polar Express. If you can dream it, we can make it happen.
-
Absolutely! Some of my favorite holiday sessions are couples, best friends, or solo shoots. I've done everything from couples with their cats in ugly Christmas sweaters to a woman wrapped in Christmas lights to friends ice skating with penguins. Your holiday photos should be about you, no kids required.
-
That's one of the most popular things I do! After your session, I can design a completely custom holiday card using your photos, not a template, but something totally original. A lot of my clients' cards end up being the ones that get stuck on everyone's fridge because they're so different from what you see anywhere else.
-
Totally depends on the vibe you're going for! For a classic holiday look, coordinating colors (not matchy-matchy) in reds, greens, and golds work great. For something more creative, I've had families do matching elf costumes, ugly Christmas sweaters, or full themed outfits. We'll talk about your session idea during planning so I can give you specific wardrobe suggestions that match your set.
