Yeah, I think that sounds like an epic adventure too. However, I know for a lot of us it may just be a dream. BUT that’s where I like to step in and bring it a little bit closer to reality with something called a Dream Portrait!
A Dream Portrait is basically a photo of you and or your family doing something epic that could only be seen in the movies or a dream. Something amazing that makes you feel that kid like wonder or really makes your imagination come out to play.
I have had a lot of space travelers in my time doing this and every time, their images always turn out to be different. Mostly because they are exploring completely different planets that we come up with details about together before the sessions even start.
Each family gets together and tells me a little bit about the places they think are out there and what it would be like to visit. They all get a say in it. Then I take details from our conversation and get to creating.
During the session each family shows up in what they think they would need/look like if they were exploring space. And keep in mind, usually we are in some kind of fantasy world where certain safety devices are not necessary. Say 500 years into the future or something haha. Making an image with a full space suit on is somehow just not as cool to see and you can’t see your faces.
Space exploring sessions are so fun. They make the whole family laugh and is a great experience and bonding time. So if you’re looking for something a little out of the ordinary, perhaps it’s time to book a Dream Portrait to space!
