Mushroom hats and flower petal hats- New studio props for fantasy photoshoots

I absolutely LOVE making stuff. Getting busy making props and costumes is one of my favorite things to do when I’m not doing shoots or something related to editing or computer work.

Something about taking an idea and turning it into something that is real and tangible is just so nice. This week I have been all about fantasy when working on props. Mushroom hats, woodland witch hats and little flower petal hats are what my brain has been really hyper focusing on.

Like really really focusing haha. So, I officially made 1 Mushroom hat, 1 witch hat with mushrooms and moss on everywhere and a staff to go with it and 2 tulip flower hats. And let me tell you, they are REAL cute!

I have totally been carrying them around in my car for a week or so too because I keep planning times to photograph them and I either need to fix something/add something on them or something comes up and I have to move the shoot.

Yesterday though, I finally made it happen. Well I half made it happen haha. I may have ran out of time to really do what I wanted but It’s a start! So today I’m just going to leave you with some photos of the Witch hat and staff. I promise you’ll see the rest later. Especially when the youtube videos come out of both.

Isn’t that staff and hat so darn cute!! I kind of just want to wear them just because out in public. Maybe getting my groceries, going to target… where ever. Let’s make wearing cute costumes just because normal please!!
