Dive into the super magical, otherworldly experience of underwater photography! Become a mermaid (yes, real mermaid photoshoots too!), capture your little ones learning how to swim, do a best friend underwater shoot, or create some super sweet mommy and me moments beneath the surface. There is SO much fun to be had with an underwater session.

Booking is super easy! It all starts with sending me a message. We'll set up a time to chat about the details, talk about the vibe you're going for, and nail down a date and location for your session.

Underwater sessions work best when you're comfortable and confident in the water. Whether you're celebrating something special or you just want to create something totally unique, we'll find the perfect timing. These sessions are available in the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky area during warmer months.

Underwater sessions are $450 and require a 20% nonrefundable deposit to book.

How does booking work?

Step 1 | Inquire

Send me a message. Tell me a little bit about what you’re looking for and when. I’ll send you over everything you need to get your session started. I try to respond as fast as I can. Usually within a day or so.
Step 2 | Planning

Let’s plan a little chat to go over the details of your shoot. We can chat wardrobe, what to bring, and any other little details you may want to add in.
Step 3 | Session time!

It’s time for your session! It will be a fun and chill time with music on in the background and tons of wardrobe ready for you! Sessions are usually 90 minutes long.
Step 4 | Gallery

2 weeks after your session, you will get a link to your gallery. You can pick and choose what images you want to print and download from here.

Common questions

Underwater wardrobe can be a lot of things. Flowey dresses to just your regular swim attire. I do have dresses and mermaid tails you can use and other fun props.
This really depends on you and the time of year. I travel for things like this so we can honestly go where ever you like. During summer time I like to use outdoor pools as the sun is the best light. However, during the colder months I have a couple local indoor pools that can be used.
Sessions for this kind of shoot can be a little longer. Sessions can be anywhere between 2-4 hours. It can take a little while to get used to swimming for a camera :)
This type of session can be done for so many reasons. To capture your family in the pool during a fun summertime adventure, maternity and even more of an artsy vibe. No matter the reason, I love them all!
My biggest thing I want to make sure you know before booking is to make sure you’re a pretty good swimmer. These can be a lot of energy and sometimes make swimming a little harder. Especially if you’re wearing a flowy dress or mermaid tail.
Also, if you’re someone who likes to close their eyes underwater, maybe practice keeping them open. Sounds silly but you’ll love your photos so much more if you have your eyes open in your shots.
