90’s JCP Family Photo shoot And The Perfect Amount of Denim

I love silly things. I love them even more when my clients also love to do them with me.

And when I was asked to do another “Bad family photos” or sometimes called JCP photoshoot, I was so down.

This time we went to several thrift stores before the shoot to look for the perfect outfits.

We looked through tons of racks and different options to really nail the look.

They did have some backups pre planned just in case but we walked away with plenty of goodies to add in.

The session itself was done at Devou Park in Covington Kentucky. We headed first to the overlook to snag some shots done with the Cincinnati skyline in the background. And I must say, they are absolute stunners <3

A playful family scene with a man on all fours, a woman on his back, and a child sitting atop her, all smiling. City skyline in background. Happy, carefree mood.
A woman, a child, and a man pose playfully on outdoor steps. The woman and man create an arch with their legs around the seated child, who covers their ears.
A woman gently holds a man's face with one hand, while the man holds her face with one hand. Standing on a hill overlooking Cincinnati. They both wear black shirts and jeans, evoking a tender, intimate moment.
A family looking into the overlook of Cincinnati Ohio. The son's hands are in both the pockets of his mom and dads jeans. While the parents are both holding the back of their son. Each family member is wearing a large amount of denium from the 90s.
A playful family scene with two adults on swings holding hands, while a child stands between them, all dressed in denim. Lush green trees in the background.
A woman with glasses and a young boy, both in colorful striped shirts, sit closely together outdoors, gazing intently ahead under a tree's shade.
Three people wearing denim pose playfully in a park. One sits on two others stacked on the ground. Green trees surround the sunny scene.
A couple and a child lie on grass, forming a heart shape with their bodies. The scene conveys warmth and family love in a playful manner.

We eventually headed over to a playground to take a series of other images including some special drone shots. I also tried to keep the editing more film colored and kind of grainy. I think they came out so good and cannot wait to do something like this again.

I’m here for this kind of shoot forever!
