Rainbow Pop tarts! A fun activity to do with your kids to celebrate the arrival of spring!

INGREDIENTS

Pop Tart Dough:
1 box pie crust mix
4 tbsp Cold water
At least 4 food coloring colors of your choice

Filling:
Any jam of your choice- I did grape

Glaze:
3 tablespoons whipping cream
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup confectioner's sugar
Rainbow sprinkles


INSTRUCTIONS

Make the dough per box instructions.
Divide the dough into 6 balls.
Then dye each ball a color of your choosing.
Flatten each ball of dough into a disk and stack them up.
Twist together to mix them.
Roll the dough out into a rectangles or whatever shape you like (you can even use cookie cutters. Cut into 4 rectangles and transfer to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Place a small amount of jam onto the center of one side of each rectangle.
Fold the rectangle over to cover the jam and seal closed with a fork.
Bake at 400F for 20 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
Make sure to let cool 100% before moving to the next step.
Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix until fully combined.
Spoon icing onto each pop tart. Then give each one a quick shake of sprinkles!


Rice Krispie Treasure Boxes- A super yummy treat for any explorer!

I've got a new funtivity for all you explorers out there!

This week we are making Rice Krispie Treasure Boxes! The perfect sack to have after a day of adventuring.

All you need to make this is:

a tsp of icing (any color/flavor)
1 rice krispie treat
1 package of gushers

To assemble, simply cut your rice krispie in half. Push down the bottom layers middle to create a cavity for your gems/gushers to sit in without falling out and place them inside. Place the top half above the gushers and make buckles and a lock on the top and sides of your treasure box.

Easy peasy!
