I cant get enough snowy days. I feel literally ALIVE when it snows like a weird thing in me has woken up and I'm full of energy. I think it's partly because its so beautiful and I also just really like winter time- and trust me, I know that opinion is not shared with a lot of you.

Regardless of your feelings about snow I think we can all agree that it looks DAMN good in photos. Even more so when you have an exceptionally gorgeous lady to put in the photos with it.

If you didn't already know, I've been WAITNG FOR DAYS to get a decent snow storm to photograph in. When I saw that it was finally snowing I called up my model and headed to the park to create magic- Dream session magic to be more specific.

The plan behind this session was to create a story about a girl, who later became dubbed a woodland nymph, was walking along the woods on her way home and found a key in a hollowed out tree. She then wonders what the key is doing in the tree picks it up and the key leads her to another tree where it opens a door to an unknown world. (I may actually write a story to go with this...)

It was such a fun photo story to photograph and since shooting it I've been in love with the images and how they turned out. I'm loving the idea of telling an actual story with images, something that you can print in a book and keep, share with your children... even put your children it it. The possibilities of what you can do with a photo story are endless.

I also at the end of the session, I saw a great opportunity to take a great levitation shot. It had nothing to do with the story we set out to photograph but it was still cool and I couldn't let it go to waste.

I also made a fun time lapse work in progress video of the creation of it. You can also find this video in the Behind The Scenes tab on my website, along with other rad videos to check out.

What I'm super curious about is how do you take this image? What do you think is going on? I know what I planned it to be but I want to know what you think first before I tell you.  Share in the comments below your thoughts, I'd love to read them!
